I hope this doesn’t come across as showing-off or bragging but I thought I would share with you some of the favourite christmas pressies I was lucky enough to receive this year (I must not have been as naughty as I thought). I know I’m always nosey intrigued about what others have got so I thought you might like to see.
First, my fave smell of the moment (always happy to add the McCartney coffers)…
A brilliant scarf; it’s so soft and knitted into a complete circle so I don’t have to worry about if one end is longer than the other (and can wrap it round twice for super-cold days)…
Cookery books – yum…
A couple of new/old film cameras (not strictly gifts but picked up at bargain prices a few days after Christmas – more on them in a later post) plus a lovely new bag (another addiction)…
Finally, two Polaroid-y pressies which I am particularly excited about; a calendar with a Polaroid image for every day of the year – that’s one big, chunky lump of photos!
And, after lots and lots of hint dropping by me, I got the brilliant Death of a Polaroid – A Manics Family Album which looks amazing and has totally inspired me already and I’ve only really flicked through it so far…
Cool huh! How about you, did you get anything nice?

Bill.

3 January 2012 at 14:16I wanted a Poladarium! Didn’t get one though.
I don’t trust that Pascale woman though, she never seems to eat what she cooks on the TV, suspicious it is.
I did get a super ‘sunsniper’ strap for my SLR. I’d always just used the strap that comes with it before. What a difference a proper strap makes!

3 January 2012 at 19:24I’ve been looking at proper camera straps too! Good to hear they’re worth the investment *rubs sore neck*
