Now where did you last see it?

Things that you always assume you have in the house, but can never find when you need them…

1. Paper clips (Grrrr… long story.)
2. Shoe polish (I remember having to clean all the families shoes every Sunday afternoon or there was no pocket money – I think that’s why now ‘ll only clean them If I really have to – it’s much easier to just pop into town and buy a new pair!)
3. A long tape measure (Mr Shopkeeper, could I have a length of earth cable that’s 14 times as long as my shoe please.)
4. All receipts, guarentees, warantees, instruction manuals and any scraps of paper with important phone numbers written on them.
