It’s amazing how much stuff you suddenly realise you HAVE to have when you go on a trip to IKEA. I now have a tray / vase / candle / storage-box for every known situation, plus change from a tenner. The trolley was piled up so high I couldn’t see over the top of it – I got the two bathroom cabinets that I actually went in for, but they didn’t take up much room at all, how did it all get in there? What I’m most excited about is my new ability to produce star-shaped ice ‘cubes’ – how did I ever mangage before?
