Thrifting

Got up bright and early this morning to lots of very unexpected sunshine. Decided to check out the local (giant) car boot sale.

My haul there very much reflects my growing interests these days (old school ‘making stuff’ – but properly – not with a staple gun and duvet cover like in my past).

I got some knitting needles (20p), about 1,000,000 buttons in two huge biscuit tins (£2.50) and a huge stack of about 100 vintage knitting patterns (just 50p)!!!

There’s one pattern I am going HAVE to try. I’m going to knit Mark this hat (the middle one) if he doesn’t like it I will have a very nice tea cosy! (Marvel now at how things used to be – now there’s a look David Beckham hasn’t tried)…
