A little bit of politics

There’s so much I could say today, so many thoughts are trying to articulate themselves.

Today is the day the UK votes for a new government – I really hope it makes the right decision. I’ve never known it be such a close run thing and when it’s between three parties and not two it makes for some interesting possibilities.

It’s no secret I am a leftie! The right-wing conservatives though seem to have a close-run lead. (I have hemlock at the ready).

I’ve voted. It’s not much but it’s all I can do.

Voting ~ it’s so huge! We tend to diminish the significance of our individual vote, but that’s the only voice we have, isn’t it? It seems, from what I’m able to surmise, that the UK has got itself what we call here in Canada a minority government. That’s certainly a message to send to the politicians, isn’t it?

I thought that pic was a scan of a 70s photo at first – it’s the colour palate and the building behind, I suspect…
