I went to an organic farmers-market/supermarket today. I always feel it’s something I should do and try and make the effort once in a while, especially at this time of the year when everything is ripe and ready to eat. All I came away with though is this Polaroid of me in the dairy section…
I think I’ve been indoctrined with supermarket standards (and prices) for too long now. Earwig-free lettuces are something of a must in my life now – seeing that creature crawl out from a perfect looking little-gem and stick his tongue out at me put me off the whole caboodle I have to say. Call me fussy if you like.
That said, when organic goodies fall from the sky into your own back garden you’d be silly to say no…
