Song For Whoever

Beautiful South I’ve just come back from seeing The Beautiful South at Bournemouth International Centre. It was such a good night out, they were excellent! Paul Heaton has to be the best lyricist in the world ever (see below), and I love the little dances he does too – a cross between Michael Jackson and my Dad (who can’t dance at all by the way). During the encore they did a version of S-Club 7’s ‘Don’t Stop Movin” which I now can’t stop singing!

Think of you with pipe and slippers
Think of her in bed
Laying there just watching telly
Then think of me instead
I’ll never grow so old and flabby
That could never be
Don’t marry her, fuck me
