Fun-day

Today was actually quite a lovely day to be at work. Rather than add a £20 (minus tax) to our pay packets as a thank you, the directors chose to have a celebratory barbeque and ‘fun-day’ to thank us for all or hard work. It was quite strange watching 1800 people you know, all smiling, some with painted tiger faces, some wearing shorts, some tied to scaffolding poles in a game of human-table-football! It was a little diorientating – it had the feel of a village fete, that or an opening scene of Midsomer Murders (no bodies were found in the bouncy castle though – thank goodness)!
