Just a thought…. what’s happened to Father Christmas (yes I mean Santa) this year? He used to be everywhere; ringing his bell and bothering you on every street corner – and there used to be a grotto in every store with more than 100 square foot of shop floor. Is something sinister afoot, or is it just political correctness gone mad?

21 December 2004 at 01:29I think he hopped the Atlantic and took up residence in California. Cannot seem to pass a street corner in Los Angeles without being accosted by white beards.
