I could use this blog to make a very weak joke about how the new Pope will be chosen by ITV viewers on the new series of ‘Pope Idol’ (geddit)! However, as half my family are Catholic (thankfully the half that don’t go to church very much… which is a lot more than the other half), I will be a lot more respectful. Anyway, I bet that doing so would constitute some sort of mortal sin, and hey – when you’re as pure and innoccent as me you can’t afford any black marks!
