C’mon, let’s celebrate

So, London will host the Olympics in 2012! Firstly, I just want to say “woohooooo”, and not in an ironic way for a change. Secondly, I have calculated that I will be 43 years old when this thing gets going… what sport can I take up, get good at, and win competitions at in the next seven years? Bear in mind I am very un-fit, I don’t really like sport and am basically quite lazy. I’m hoping they might consider Monopoly or Pictionary as future events, I think I would be good at those; gold-medal good with enough training.

Alternatively, I could just shell out for tickets and go along as a spectator I suppose.

I’m currently planning my husband’s retirement around 2012 in London. You have to have something to look forward to.

I have no idea what summer sport one can learn in 7 years (although I’ve heard that some trainers and doctors (I think in soccer) get medals too if the team wins), but I’m gonna take up curling for the winter Olympics 2014 wherever they will be!:p
Good luck anyway, -if there was a sport called knitting, you would definitely have won with your hat!^_^
