Shiny New Apple

Oooh, look what I spotted in West Quay, Southampton today!

Having an Apple store on my very own doorstep (sort of) will be fabulous. I like to covet sleek, sexy gadgets, and doing so ‘in the flesh’ as it were, will be great fun.

It’s near the bit of the shopping centre where lots of women’s clothes shops are (H&M, Warehouse, Monsoon, Dorothy Perkins etc) which is genius, it will double-up as a creche for shop-phobic men who have been dragged into town shoe shopping for the missus. (Apologise now for blatent gender stereo-typing, but, you know, it’s kinda true)!

Other new shops to look forward to include Zara, PC World and Borders Bookshop (which hopefully will do decent coffee too). God, I’m such a consumer – if I had money I’d be a retail marketers wet-dream come true! I blame growing up in Thatcher’s Britain.
