Saturday was a gloriously sunny day and as we may not see such great sunshine/heat/daylight again for ages, a day out at the seaside was definitely in order.
Weymouth is just down the road really – it’s a typical seaside town which I don’t imagine has changed much since olden days. Of course all those classically Georgian seafont houses are now B&B’s, each with its own charming façade.
They have some very swanky beach-huts too – coloured like Neopolitan ice-cream…
Although some people prefer to just slather themselves up in cooking oil and wait until crisp and brown…

And, contrary to what the signs might say, it is a fun place to spend a sunny Saturday!
