Yesterday I bought some great books to keep me stimulated during the cold lean nights that loom during January. It seems that charity shops these days only stock ‘chick lit’, Ian Rankin and copies of the Da Vinci Code, so a bit of rummaging is required to get to the ‘good’ stuff (not that anything isn’t ‘good’ if you enjoy it).
I love having a pile of books to choose from and deciding where to start first. I think I’ll keep the poems in my bag and dip in whenever I am stuck in the queue at the post office (for example)…
