I’ll tell you something, and it’s surprised me. I have discovered over the course of this very unusal (and as yet indecicive) election that I am a lot more bothered about politics than I imagined I was. It has brought a lot of things to the surface, things that were buried by years of indulgence in light-entertainment (albeit very enjoyable) and artistic endavours (still a passion). The realness and all-encompassing nature of what’s happening is enticing. I love the game play and machinations and desperation of the rolling news channels to find something or someone to talk to!
Whatever your political colours might be, you can be sure we’re in for an interesting week.
