Did I mention I saw the Queen when I was in London? Did I mention I actually saw two queens? OK, they were plastic and only six inches tall but all the same, I think it counts…
Oh, and it wasn’t just British royalty I saw, there was also the Hollywood kind in the shape of Marilyn Monroe!
Most of my photos from Columbia Road were shot ‘from the hip’ and I dunno if it’s the size of my hips or what but most came out a bit rubbish – I liked this one though, if I hadn’t been mid-trek round London with cameras and bags and a few tube and train journey’s ahead of me I might have bought this (or something similar)…
I loved all the little shops with salvaged goodies – I need to get to where they salvage this stuff from, this could be my retirement plan…
I also loved all the graffitti, although that seems too crude a term for a lot of it, it’s more like art – this though is graffitti in its truest (and funniest) form…
And if you love people watching, then really, it’s the only place to go…
I can’t wait to go back to London!
