Boat trip

These Polaroids demonstrate very well just how freakishly hot and sunny it was during our trip to the rain capital of the world aka The Lake District.

This is the Ullwater Steamer, which easn’t actually a steamer but a 100-year-old motor yacht – all the same, it was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon – I got a little sun-burnt!

They aren’t brilliant photos – it became really hazy in the heat. I guess that’s bound to happen with so much moisture about.

I love them, especially the top photo, the reflection of the light on the water is beautiful.

      Thank you lovely Rhianne!
It was really hard to photography all that ‘light’ – especially with a Polaroid – I gave it a go though :)

Ooh! But I love the haziness! It’s part of the beautiful romantic feel of the pictures. Also, I’m developing a dangerous curiosity about your polaroid camera: I love the pictures you are taking with it! i’m sure that has more to do with you than with the camera but I just adore the old feel the pictures have. Totally gorgeous. Note to self: no Cass, you do not need another camera!
