5fives with Laurie Freitag

I love Laurie’s work – her photos feel like a wild TV dream of America in the 8os…

Laurie FreitagI’m a digital shooter of human and city portraits. I sit in traffic and watch. I sit with children and watch. Always watching.
I grew up at the beaches of Rockaway and Florida. I scoured the shore for shells, listened to Elvis and took photos.
Residing in Los Angeles since the late 70’s and retired from TV news, you can always find me with a camera in my lap as I drive to and from working with the children.
I’m inspired everyday by light and children and design.
