I kind of like halloween, but I kind of don’t.
I love the pumpkins, they make me very happy. I used to like the vague themes that this time of year brought with it – the odd cobweb on the specials board at the sandwich bar, that was nice. And maybe your teacher would try to scare you in double-maths by wearing hairy were-wolf hands. All the scarier for not having seen them hung up for sale in Asda when grocery shopping!
We’ll see what tomorrow brings – although the zombies have been thick on the ground for a while now at work.
