Saturday-on-Sea

Just to prove me wrong about all the rain I was on about, the sun came out today, and on a Saturday too!

I am more than happy to be proved wrong about this, and so after dippy eggs and soldiers for breakfast, we made our way out of the city, through a very scenic New Forest and ended up in the pretty little harbour town of Lymington.

It’s a great spot to visit on a Saturday, the market runs through the main high street and there are some great little shops.

And it’s always good to say hello to a duck or two and observe all the little boats.

After all this fun and sunshine we carried on to Milford-on-Sea, by which time mother-nature had become very bored with all the clement weather and decided to get all moody and foreboding. However, we had a flask of tea (!!) so weren’t scared at all.

WOW! What amazing pictures!! It always amazes me how quickly the weather can turn sometimes… and however cold and dreary the clouds may be I do love to see a stormy looking sky – so powerful!

I love the coast in winter, I have never been to Milford on sea but it sounds worth a visit one day.
