A new adventure

I can’t believe I made a vlog yesterday!

I can’t believe I made another video today, too!

I know they’re not brilliant but they never will be unless I practice. All I’ve done so far is talk into my webcam – all in one take – and do some very basic editing (literally just adding frames to the beginning and end of the video). It looks like I have a whole new discipline to master in 2012 if I want to pursue this – it’s quite exciting to have a new project to sink my teeth into though. Have you made videos before? Do you have any tips or advice for a newbie?

Anyhoo, here’s some more photos following on from yesterday’s post…

The power station picture, and the one of the sea looking bleak… Two of my favorite ever.

I love a bit of juxtaposition, like having a massive power station next to seaside-y beach huts – if nothing else it means not having to share location with hoards of tourists! :)

    Hi there!!
    Nice work.
I have a question regarding my new pentax k-1000
The light meter works fine but i thought that it doesn’t need a battery to work, is that correct do i need a battery?
    Ciao

      Hi Sergio,
It does take one tiny watch-style battery (all it does is power the light meter so will last for years). If you look on the bottom of the camera there’s a small groove which you open with a coin and it pops in there.
If your light meter works then your battery is fine and you’re ready to shoot!
      Have fun :)
