Turns out (without wishing to humblebrag) that selling your work online somewhere popular like notonthehighstreet.com whilst working full-time on a project that’s counting down to D-Day at the same time leaves you very little time to do things like blog, for example!
I have been loving it though – my favourite toy as a kid was my post-office set and now I get to play at it every day! The best bit though is that I get to be creative – which was the whole point of the exercise in the first place and means I am a step or two closer to breaking free from the 9-5.
I have also had to deal with my first (known) case of blatant plagiarism! My main reaction on discovering this was total bewilderment – this person (who describes themselves as an artist) even used my photos and description text – I’m not sure what they’d have sent out if the product had been ordered! Enough of such nonsense though – it’s all sorted now (his excuse was that he found them the photos on ‘google images’!!!)
So apart from the endless product shots the only photos I seem to have taken recently have been with my phone – thank goodness for instagram…
…reminding me that SUMMER IS HERE! The light, the warmth, the colour; it’s all in abundance and waiting to be explored so I am determined to make sure I find time to experience it (and blog it) – no matter what!
How’s your summer so far? Excellent, I hope! See you soon(ish) x
