Making time

My camera got the shock of its life today. Not only did I pop a memory card into its tummy, I also removed the 40mm pancake lens that’s been attached pretty much permanently since I got it last year.

conkers and leaves

I’m making time for photography again. I’ve decided. I am making a deliberate effort to reconnect with my photo mojo that has so cruelly drifted away from me.

I decided today to take photos with a lens I haven’t  used for ages; to literally look at the world differently. For today’s little trip round the parks in town I used my 85mm f/1.8 lens.

It helps of course that it’s pretty hard to take a bad photo of autumnal things.

I am so glad you went shooting. These are beautiful fall images. I think fall is coming to us in Pennsylvania soon. It is slowly creeping in.

It definitely is, isn’t it. I’ll miss the summer so much but at least autumn is very, very pretty :)

Hoorah! She’s back! The queen is back! Although I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to take a bad picture of a conker, these are nonetheless exceptionally lovely. So hoorah for autumn too, and all the excuses it gives me to drown myself in hot chocolate x
