My camera got the shock of its life today. Not only did I pop a memory card into its tummy, I also removed the 40mm pancake lens that’s been attached pretty much permanently since I got it last year.
I’m making time for photography again. I’ve decided. I am making a deliberate effort to reconnect with my photo mojo that has so cruelly drifted away from me.
I decided today to take photos with a lens I haven’t used for ages; to literally look at the world differently. For today’s little trip round the parks in town I used my 85mm f/1.8 lens.
It helps of course that it’s pretty hard to take a bad photo of autumnal things.
All photos taken with my Canon 5D MkII and 85mm f/1.8 lens

22 September 2014 at 00:40I am so glad you went shooting. These are beautiful fall images. I think fall is coming to us in Pennsylvania soon. It is slowly creeping in.

22 September 2014 at 10:33Hoorah! She’s back! The queen is back! Although I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to take a bad picture of a conker, these are nonetheless exceptionally lovely. So hoorah for autumn too, and all the excuses it gives me to drown myself in hot chocolate x
