Devon knows

I went to Devon recently and got a real taste for the outdoors life – I ate scones and clotted cream every afternoon (it’s the law), frolicked with donkeys and saw a solar eclipse!

On the morning of the eclipse there was loads of cloud and I was pretty resigned to seeing nothing. Then, whilst driving along, I looked out of the window and thought ‘wow, the moon looks really bright for the daytime’. Than it clicked! (I hadn’t had a coffee yet). All that cloud was great because it acted like a giant ND filter. I wasn’t prepared though (totally the wrong lens), and only got this one photo by randomly pointing my camera at the sky with my eyes shut and hoping for the best. I was there though, and I saw it!
