This was harder to find an image for than you might think. I found LOADS of three things or five things, but four! Bah! Nature obviously groups things in odd numbers. I did find this though. No cropping, there really were four crows in this tree!

17 August 2006 at 01:41You might be amused to discover that much of nature makes its appearance according to the fibbonacci sequence: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34… the ratio of which, as the numbers progress, approaches 1.618034. This is the “golden mean” of Greece, and is also represented by the equation x^2 – x – 1 = 0. The number is “trancendental” and can be found, not only in nature, but in the Great Pyramid and the Parthanon. No, four isn’t all that common…
