Photo Friday – Four

This was harder to find an image for than you might think. I found LOADS of three things or five things, but four! Bah! Nature obviously groups things in odd numbers. I did find this though. No cropping, there really were four crows in this tree!

    You might be amused to discover that much of nature makes its appearance according to the fibbonacci sequence: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34… the ratio of which, as the numbers progress, approaches 1.618034. This is the “golden mean” of Greece, and is also represented by the equation x^2 – x – 1 = 0. The number is “trancendental” and can be found, not only in nature, but in the Great Pyramid and the Parthanon. No, four isn’t all that common…
