Chinese New Year hasn’t been something I’ve really got into celebrating in the past… mainly because I am not Chinese. I think I might start climbing on the bandwagon with this one though, as the celebrations in town yesterday were lots of fun to get involved with. Regular new years celebration are, I tend to find, a bit depressing. They tend to dwell on reflections of the past year, where as the hinese New year celebrations seem much more focussed on good luck for the year ahead – a much more positive outlook! Plus, they have dragons! What’s not to love?
