I bought a new lens! It was a bit of an impulse buy but I just couldn’t help it.
It’s a Sigma 30mm f1.4. Yes 1.4, that means it will have a MASSIVE depth of field and I’ll pretty much be able to take pictures in the dark! That’s what swung it for me really; every night when I get home from work it’s pitch black outside and I have to just gaze longingly at my camera bag and all the goodness it contains – now I’ll be able to shoot away!
These photos aren’t very interesting but I couldn’t help but shoot everything that was lying around. And, if in doubt there’s always the old self-portrait-in-a-mirror shot to try!
