If you go down to the woods today…

…well, last weekend actually. If you do though and those woods happen to be the New Forest National Park then you’re likely to see a whole host of beasties wending their way freely and happily to the delight of everyone passing by.

F’rinstance, just look at these little piggies! They let loose piglets at this time of year to gobble up all the acorns that the ponies would eat and get tummy-aches from. Pigs have cast-iron stomaches, obviously. I think I may be part pig!

And donkies, my favourite! They’re so funny to look at – just look at the cheeky grin on this little chap…
